The Best Bacon and Brown Sugar Brussel Sprouts
Crispy bacon and brown sugar baked Brussels sprouts are a new family favorite. The saltiness from the bacon and the hint of sweetness from the brown sugar makes the perfect bite.

- 1 lb Brussel sprouts
- 2 thick bacon slices cut into small pieces
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
First wash your Brussel sprouts and pull off any bruises leaves. Cut your Brussel sprouts in half.
Toss in olive oil. Add salt to taste, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and bacon. Mix well.
Cover baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper (this allows for an easy clean up). Lightly spray cooking oil on pan. Place Brussel sprouts on baking pan (make sure leaving space between Brussel sprouts- this allows for crispiness).
Then bake Brussel sprouts in oven for 15-20 minutes for 375 degrees (flip Brussel sprouts halfway through cooking).
