What Ingredients Will You Need to Make These Brussel Sprouts:

  • Brussel sprouts
  • Olive oil
  • Bacon
  • Brown Sugar
  • Salt
  • Red pepper flakes

How to Make Bacon and Brown Sugar Baked Brussel Sprouts

First wash your Brussel sprouts and pull off any bruised leaves. Cut your Brussel sprouts in half.

Toss in olive oil. Add salt to taste, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and bacon. Mix well.

Cover baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper (this allows for an easy clean up). Lightly spray cooking oil on pan. Place Brussel sprouts on baking pan. Make sure Brussel sprouts have enough space between them (this allows them to get crispy).

Then bake Brussel sprouts in oven for 15-20 minutes for 375 degrees.

Skip the bacon! Instead add craisins or walnuts for extra texture.

  • 1 lb Brussel sprouts
  • 2 thick bacon slices cut into small pieces
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • First wash your Brussel sprouts and pull off any bruises leaves. Cut your Brussel sprouts in half.
  • Toss in olive oil. Add salt to taste, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and bacon. Mix well.
  • Cover baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper (this allows for an easy clean up). Lightly spray cooking oil on pan. Place Brussel sprouts on baking pan (make sure leaving space between Brussel sprouts- this allows for crispiness).
  • Then bake Brussel sprouts in oven for 15-20 minutes for 375 degrees (flip Brussel sprouts halfway through cooking).
