Grilled Lemongrass Pork Patty

The perfect grilled combination of lemongrass and pork combined in a patty.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs ground pork
  • 2 tbsp thin soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp white granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup lemongrass chopped into fine pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 Thai red peppers optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add ground pork, thin soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper, lemongrass, garlic, and Thai red peppers (optional). Mix well.
  • Begin to form small pork patties using about 2-3 tbsp of pork mixture. Place in an airtight container and allow to marinate for 2-3 hours (or overnight).
  • Prepare grill and lay patties on the hot grill. If using a food thermometer, make sure the internal heat of pork patties is at 145 degrees F. Grill until patties are golden brown with grilled marks.
  • Serve hot with noodles or rice.
