Yaki Udon
Yaki Udon is an easy Japanese style stir fried noodle recipethat takes about 20 minutes to make.

- ½ rice wine
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sweet soy
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp thin soy sauce
- Pinch of black pepper
- Sanuki-style udon 2.5 lbs 5 noodle bunches of udon frozen
Vegetables (optional) choose any vegetables you have
- 2 cups chopped green beans
- 1 cup julienne sliced carrots
- 2 chopped green onions
Sauce: Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
Cook frozen noodles as directed by packaging. Add frozen noodles directly to pot of boiling water. Avoid overcooking noodles.
Rinse and drain noodles in cold water. If not using right away drizzle some oil on the noodles to prevent them from sticking.
Heat your pan over high heat and add oil. Add vegetables and ¼ of sauce mixture. Stir.
Add noodles, the rest of the sauce, and green onions.
Taste and add more oyster sauce if you prefer a bit salter.
Serve immediately.
