There’s just something spectacular about having warm caramelized bananas covered with sunflower butter on a piece of toast. I love this for breakfast, but this is amazing on ice cream also!
Pan Fried Caramelized Bananas
Perfect caramelized bananas for topping breakfast toast, oatmeal, or ice cream.

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Remove the peels off the banana and slice 1/2’’ inch thick.
- Use a nonstick skillet over medium to medium high heat and add coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well.
- Add banana slices. Fry 2-3 minute on each side or until golden brown and caramelized. Be sure to watch the heat and turn it down if it browns too quickly.
- Add caramelized bananas on toast, oatmeal, ice cream or anything you like. Serve hot.
