Fresh Fruit Salad

This easy fresh fruit salad is perfect for breakfast or a warm sunny day.

Fresh fruit tossed in a little lime juice and mint is great, refreshing, and easy to make. I love to make this as a quick snack just for myself, but it’s also a crowd-pleaser when serving parties. I wouldn’t even say this is a “true” recipe, but a lovely suggestion on how I like to eat my fruit.

One thing that I remembered and loved growing up in my parent’s home is the pots of mint my mom grew in her backyard. She definitely had a green thumb! So when I finally lived in a home with my husband I attempted to grow mint myself. And guess what, it worked! Now, this may seem like an easy task to grow herbs, but I was not given that same green thumb. I have killed at least 5 aloe vera plants (hey someone told me these were easy to keep alive!) in the past few years and not to mention the other many plants (you know…indoor and outdoor plants of course). Growing my own mint in my backyard has definitely been a WIN!

Go ahead and see if you love this fruit salad and when you toss your mint in your salad, I hope my story puts a smile on your face!
